We are happy to publicize that the Contract Signing for the Supply and Delivery of Towers, Stubs, Tower Accessories, Earthing Materials, Gantries & Earth Mast And, Design of Tower Foundations was successfully concluded on October 17, 2023, at the CEB Head Office, with Mr. N. S. Ilangakoon, the Chairman of CEB, leading the event. This contract is a collaboration between our utility, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), and our partner, M/s. Transrail Lighting Limited – India.
This project, initiated under the Transmission Projects branch of CEB, was tendered under NO: CEB/TR-PR/2023/ICB/004 (Package 04). It is financially supported by an Asian Development Bank (ADB) loan, having a project value of approximately USD 3 Million. Transrail Lighting Limited – India was awarded this contract, after being identified as the lowest evaluated bidder.
